Hello

Let me tell you a little about the history of this special place. I was born just a few blocks from this cottage, at the local hospital. When I was four, my family moved abroad, but even after leaving, my heart stayed here. I have so many fond childhood memories of visiting my grandparents on Gibbs Avenue, right by the water. Those summer days gave me a deep love for the calm and beauty of waterfront life.
Over the last ten years, I’ve traveled all over the world as a nanny. But a few years back, I started craving a place of my own — something that reminded me of those cherished visits to my grandparents. I wanted a home where I could not only put down my own roots but also share that sense of belonging with others. A place where people can make memories that last a lifetime.

And that’s how Roots came to be. The name says it all — about finally planting roots and going back to the ones that shaped me.
